Trained to second level by a grand prix dressage trainer in Sweden, currently schooling third level in the US and schooled in jumping by Olympic rider Lars Christensson and continues his jumping currently to 3'6" in the US. Mambo completed the four year old event testing in Sweden with high marks. Mambo also scored 25 points (class I) at his inspection in Sweden with 8's for gaits.

A very kind horse with big (but comfortable) gaits and a good uncomplicated mind.

Mambo is by the stallion "Master", leading sire of gaits on the 2003 BLUP Index and sire to the recently imported approved stallion "Tip Top" winner of the Swedish Triple Crown ridden under Kyra Kyrklund.

Mambo is out of the diploma mare "Drusilla", an international CCI event champion in her own right.

Drusilla has had 6 foals, one of which has been offered for sale through Jan Brink

Mambo King is from exceptional bloodlines for the discriminating rider and is totally fun to ride!

Swedish dressage trainer Bo Jena most recently commented upon working with Mambo King that

Mambo King represented Swedish breeding in the breed demonstration at Equine Affaire (2004) in Massachusetts where he was ridden by Carola Engstrom to the song "Mambo Number 5" and was chosen as a demonstration horse for dressage in one of the Monty Roberts' clinics (Monty Roberts gave clinics in both Denmark and Sweden in 2005).

This is a horse that you can trailer easily to shows and have a really good time with while winning. He is extremely amicable and loves all the attention that showing has to offer!

He especially loves applause and admiring himself in the mirrors in the indoor ring.

Mirage was imported "in utero" with a "who's who" pedigree. Mirage is out of the imported SWB mare Myrra by Condor M (Holsteiner), Contender, Calypso II, Cor de la Breyere, Ramiro, Goldstern, Steinklee, Wicht.

Sire is Swedish Stallion Ragazzo (Raphael, Ramiro, Pik Konig, Frustra) Comments on Ragazzo from the stallion spproval committee as follows: Masculine, well proportioned hind and a good model. He scored "10" for exterior, temperament and ridability.

Dam of Mirage (Myrra) earned her Diploma in Sweden as a three year old. Her scores were straight 8's for total of 48 points. Myrra is the dam of three foals who have all achieved Class I scores at their approvals. Dam line includes the following bloodlines: Gauguin de Lully, Utrillo, Gaspari, Mowgli, Romeo xx, Marlon xx, Tammerlane xx, Drabant, Carnoustie xx and the well known mare "Efrodite".

Dam's dam is Marlen, winner of the "Tatis Anderssons" Prize (best broodmare in Sweden prize). Marlen is the mother of three approved SWB stallions: Camaro (by Chapman), Moliere (by Mid West Ibi Light) sold to Australian olympic rider Mary Hanna and Davinci (by Davignon) who is currently ridden by Hans Peter Minderhound and trained by Anky Von Grunsven.

Mirage is an exceptionally well bred mare and will excel in dressage and jumping. She is elegant, has striking markings, she is very friendly, easy to work with and has been handled daily since birth. She has good rhythm, very good balance, very free shoulder and is good from behind. She has alot of lift in her trot. She will be your best friend as well as your quality competition horse. She will also be a good foundation mare for a quality breeding program. As exceptional as her pedigree is, she is also a very personable horse and will easily put her head on your shoulder to nuzzle you.

full sister, Olympia was the best three year old mare in Sweden, 1997 and winner of the 4 year old quality testing. She was a double diploma mare in jumping and dressage and placed 11th in the competition for four year old mares in Europe, 1998. Dam, Olivia (by Orust) received her Elite status when she was only 12 years old and produced 10 foals, the 2 oldest have been placed and won Prix St George at age 10.

"KALEDONIA"

Kaledonia looks very much like her father and possesses his wonderful presence, movement, super strong hind end and great temperament. This combines nicely with the elegance and sweet nature from her dam, Brandina.

Kaledonia is broken in Summer of 2005 and continues in training. She is very quiet to work with. Extremely forward with light gaits.

She will be a super dependable show horse.

Besides being a good mover, this filly is also extremely fast and agile with a good mind while calm to work with. Broken in Summer of 2004, walk, trot, canter and free jumped (which she does exceptionally well). She has begun jumping under saddle Summer of 2005. This is a very forward thinking, calculating and smart horse who loves to jump and wants to please the rider.

She is well suited to be a jumper or eventer due to her good mind and quick lead changes and boldness over jumps. This mare can make a change and never miss a beat or lose her balance.

This is a thoroughbred that is also well suited for breeding to either warmblood or thoroughbred stallions, depending on your goals. Her racing bloodlines include the well known sire Storm Cat, Fire Dancer (a good broodmare sire), Northern Dancer and Secretariat.
